Hello future writers.
This blog post will be about two things that I noticed that I need when writing.
First thing is Pinterest boards for characters.
As I introduced the rest of the detectives of the team to the main character detective, I found out that I needed a visual for their clothing style, which I decided and wrote down into their profile in October. And so I went on to pinterest and made a board with sections for each of the characters. For example with Jonah Brooks. He wears smart casual clothing and so I added the pictures into his sections. Of course I added not only those but a little different ones for the day he won't wear smart casual. The second character was Isabelle Carter and when I created her I thought about her style and how similar it is with Kate Beckett and Chloe Decker and so I found some of their outfits and pinned them into her sections.

The second is An outline with character sections.
I remember looking for different outlines as I started planning my story and found the outline of J. K. Rowling. Her outline scared me at first and so I used the outline Scene by scene inspired by Adele Marie. But now that I write a scene after a scene in my original book, I realized that a lot of times I forget to add what the other detectives on the team do in the scene as the main detective, Niko, searches for evidence. And also it will show me if the character is worthy to be in the story or if Niko does a lot of stuff which is not fair to the other characters. That is why I decided to make a hybrid from these two outlines and combine them into one. The end result will be in one of the next posts. So stay tuned.
