Setting Micro Goals (Milwordy Challenge)

 Hello future writers,

The news came to me that today started the Milwordy Challenge on the Youtube Authortube community.

What is Milwordy challenge? It is a challenge for writers and editors to write or edit one million words in 365 days, which is exactly a year.

Unfortunately, I wont be participating in this challenge, because of learning for my state exam, even though some people do half milwordy.

One million words in a year is a goal that is hard to acomplish and that is why a writer should establish their micro goals.

For example, in July I had my goal to be ten thousand words in camp NaNoWriMo. My micro goal was to write one thousand words per day. Sometimes I even wrote two thousand words. And when at the tenth day I already had 10 000 words I updated my goal to 25 000 words and so on.

Its all about the micro goals when you want to keep your motivation and sanity. That is why I would recommend setting them, do the math and when you finish the daily micro goal, get a reward.

Writers can even set weekly or monthly  micro goals.

Dont forget to subscribe and comment if you participate and what is going to be your micro goal and your reward.

With love, Misha.
